Is the Cooling Fan the Same as the Radiator Fan?
In most cars, the cooling fan and radiator fan are essentially the same component. Their primary function is to help cool the engine by drawing air through the radiator to dissipate heat from the coolant. The fan activates when the engine temperature reaches a certain level or when the vehicle comes to a stop and there is insufficient airflow from driving.
