Co-produced with VW and priced below the 911, the 914 was launched in 1969.

 This midengined sports car featured a
 removable roof and a fourcylinder fuelinjected engine. 13,312 units of this model were sold in 1970 alone. The uprated 914-6 version was fitted with the 2-liter sixcylinder engine of the 911 T.
